Meet Eric

Eric Sabatini has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources Management with an emphasis in Compensation, Performance Management, and HRIS. He has extensive HR experience working in a heavily unionized, public sector environment while serving the City of Memphis.

Eric focuses on collaborating to find best solutions based on the use of quantitative metrics and benchmarking; analyzing evidence to find root causes to solve problems; and driving improvement through the optimal implementation and integration of technology and business processes.

As manager of compensation for 12 years, Eric administered the overall compensation, performance management, and HR data management functions of an 8,000-employee organization including driving more effective, automated HR practices, writing HR policy, establishing pay plans, maintaining job descriptions, and conducting market salary surveys and analysis for union negotiations.

In 2017, Eric became the first Senior Manager of HR Analytics & Performance for the City of Memphis. In this role, he has implemented a new employee performance program, developed overall HR metric tracking, and served as an HR project lead in the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud.

Eric is a WorldAtWork Certified Compensation Professional. He is certified through SHRM in People Analytics. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College in Memphis and an MBA from Christian Brothers University and is a graduate of Leadership Memphis.

Meet Gerome

A life-long learner and public servant, Gerome Q. Banks is an accomplished Doctor of Education, federal talent management strategist, scholar-practitioner, and career coach with 20 years of professional public sector management and strategic HR experience and an affinity for leader development and strategic talent. Dr. Banks manages a team of U.S. Office of Personnel Management HR consultants who craft organization design and development solutions to assist federal agencies in advancing human capital strategies. In his professional and personal time, Gerome works with public sector, nonprofit, and individual job-seekers to align individual talent capabilities to management strategy. Before devoting his work to talent management thought-leadership and scholarship, Gerome spent many years as a service member and federal government civil servant in the Department of Defense. He is a Public Sector Human Resources Association Research Committee member, contributing author, and Public Sector HR Executive Leadership Certificate Program instructor and a Senior Executives Association Human Capital Community of Practice member. Gerome holds a Doctor of Education from Concordia University - Chicago; MBA from the New York Institute of Technology; and B.A. in International Economics from The American University of Paris. Gerome lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina with his wife, Karina, and daughters.

Meet Beatriz

Dr. Coningham is a global consultant in organizational leadership, learning, change, and human resource management. She is also part of the adjunct faculty of the George Washington University, in Washington DC, where she lives. Her experience includes public sector, non-profit and for profit organizations in the United States and abroad. As part of her career in leadership roles in human resources she has personally conducted multiple workplace investigations and trained human resources teams on the investigation process.
