Strategic Plan
PSHRA undertook a deliberate and collaborative process to envision the future, define direction, and clarify priorities. With the new 2023-2025 Strategic Plan as a foundation, PSHRA and its members will continue making public sector work better.
Our History
PSHRA traces its history to 1906 and the founding of the National Assembly of Civil Service Commissions during the administration of Theodore Roosevelt. The organization’s purpose remained consistent through changes of name through the 20th century. Most recently known as the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), PSHRA adopted its current brand on January 3, 2023.
