Agency Membership
PSHRA offers an agency-level membership for organizations conducting public HR functions, both in the U.S. and internationally. Independent consulting groups, for-profit, and private sector companies can also explore membership in this category.
Chapters
PSHRA represents more than 9,000 individuals and 1,100 agencies in local, state, and federal levels of government worldwide. Our chapters play a critical role in connecting our members and uniting our audience behind a common mission.

2023 President's Award
The Presidential Award is awarded annually to the current association president for their dedicated leadership to PSHRA and public sector HR.
2023 Agency Award for Excellence
PSHRA established this award to recognize the overall quality, accomplishments and contributions of an agency human resource program that exceeds the normal operation of a “good government human resource program.”
2023 Chapter Award for Excellence
PSHRA established this award to recognize those chapters that significantly advance and enhance the public sector HR profession through innovative membership recruitment/retention strategies, excellent educational programs and quality member communication.
