Happy Public Service Recognition Week, from the PSHRA® team to yours!

Each year since 1985, Public Service Recognition Week has been celebrated during the first full week of May. This year, the weeklong commemoration of public service runs from May 4 – 10, and is a chance to let the committed public servants within your organization know that their hard work is appreciated.

Public servants like you fulfill critical roles in communities all around the country, at all levels of government. And the contributions you make and the services that agencies like yours provide have never been more essential than they are right now.

This week offers an opportunity to acknowledge and honor these contributions, and to thank public sector workers everywhere for their incredible dedication and hard work. With that in mind, the PSHRA team and I extend our gratitude to our members and all of those who have committed themselves to a career in public service. Thank you all, and let’s make this Public Service Recognition Week one to remember!

Sincerely,

Cara Woodson Welch

PSHRA CEO
