Community Service Day

PSHRA turns 120 in 2026. We invite you to celebrate this milestone with us by organizing a PSHRA Community Service Day.

Select any day between May 11–15, 2026 to unite your team and contribute to the well‑being of your community.

To begin, consider:

• The issues in your community that are most important to you
• Who you will work with, such as a nonprofit organization or a school
• The amount of time you have to volunteer
• Your supply budget
• The number of people who will volunteer
• How you will share your impact (social media, website, photos/videos)

If you need ideas on where to volunteer, there are many local, state, and national organizations that can help.

You can also find city and county-specific resources online by adding the words “Cares” and “Volunteer” to your search, such as Boston Cares, or Volunteer Alexandria, for example.

We would also like to see pictures of your team in action on the day of the event. Please share your photos with us after the event at [email protected], so we can feature it in an upcoming wrap-up of PSHRA Community Service Day.
