Bersheba Austin is the founder of Transcending Dreams Consulting. Bersheba previously worked for the City of Anniston, Ala. for 25 years, serving as HR director from 2014 until she retired at the end of 2025. Bersheba has served in several roles in the IPMA-HR Alabama Chapter, including president and past president. She also served as Southern Region IPMA-HR President and PSHRA transition committee member. Bersheba was awarded the 2023 Barbara Montoya Mentorship Award by Southern Region. She encourages HR peers to be actively involved in their local chapter as well as regional and national levels, and is excited to serve as the PSHRA South Council Representative.
