About Us:

The Public Sector Human Resource Association (PSHRA) is the leading public sector human resource organization in the world.

The Northern Ohio Chapter of PSHRA is a great resource for local HR professionals to network and share knowledge. Our chapter meets quarterly. These meetings are perfect for HR professionals with limited
training and travel budgets.

The Northern Ohio Chapter of PSHRA is comprised of public sector HR and/or Labor Relations professionals from the Northern Ohio area. Chapter membership is available to any person who supports the objectives of this chapter and of PSHRA.

Chapter meetings occur on a quarterly basis and provide a great opportunity to network with other HR professionals in the area. Our meetings include HR topics such as legislation updates, benefits updates, professional development, labor issues, etc.

Objectives:

To provide a forum for public HR professionals and administrators to exchange knowledge and experience.

To ensure our members maintain awareness of legislative and policy development at the federal, state, and local levels of government.

To foster relationships between public HR professionals in thee Northern Ohio region and to facilitate development of a network to support professional development and advancement of our members.

To promote best practices in public HR administration and to serve as a resource for public officials, public employees, the general public and civic groups with interests in public HR administration.

To encourage and facilitate cooperation among public jurisdictions to address common areas of concern in Human Resources.
