Preparing to Take the Pilot Exam

To take the exam from home, you will need (1) a computer or laptop with webcam, (2) a mobile phone with front-facing camera and (3) your government-issued photo I.D. Chromebooks and iPads are not compatible with the required Weblock.

You are also permitted to have pencils and scratch paper during the exam. Prior to registering for and logging on to take the exam, please make sure that you download and install Weblock. You will not be able to take the computer-based exam from home if you do not have Weblock installed on your computer.

How to Download Weblock

To download and install Weblock, go to the Weblock download page and follow the installation instructions before you take your exam.

After installing Weblock, please be sure to use the Try Weblock link to verify your install is working.

Paying the Exam Registration Fee

Once you have Weblock installed and are ready to take the exam, you will need to pay your exam fee through the PSHRA member portal. The exam fee payment link was sent to you via email. Please contact us if you need assistance getting the exam fee payment link again.

The Exam Registration Fee is non-refundable, so please ensure you will be able to take the exam before the communicated deadline before purchasing.

After purchase, please allow one business day for us to set up your exam session with the proctoring company. If you connect with the proctors before this business day, they will not have your exam session ready for you.

Taking the Exam

  1. Go to https://ascproctor.com.
  2. Find and select PSHRA as your testing organization.
  3. Fill out the form with your full name, phone number, email address and the certification exam name to be connected with the proctor in a live chat.

You must have paid your exam fee prior to connecting with the proctors.
